The Kings, still on their road trip, faced the Nashville Predators last night. It was the second time the two teams met. The first game was won by the Predators in the shootout and this game they took as well, though in regulation. Even though the Kings fired more than twice as many shots (32 to 14; the Kings even had 20 shots in the 2nd period only!) as the Predators, they fell to them 3-0. It wasn’t apparently Quick’s best night since his save percentage was only 0.786 while Rinne on the other side achieved a shutout.

Simon was credited with 6 shots on goal, which was the second best on the team, Justin Williams had 7. Even though the Predators scored three times his +/- rating remained even, he wasn’t on the ice for any of the Nashville’s goals. Though, obviously he hasn’t scored any point since the Kings were shut out.
